This Cookies Policy explains how Sancom Iberia S.L. (trading as “Total Sports Group”) uses cookies and similar technologies on totalsportsgroup.es (the “Site”).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work in comparable ways. They can be set by us (“first-party”) or by third parties whose services we use.
2. Cookies we currently use
This Site is built to be lightweight. Besides what is strictly necessary to display and secure the pages, the only non-essential cookies are Google Analytics statistics cookies — and those are set only after you accept them through the consent banner. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
| Cookie / technology | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential session/security | First-party, essential | Serve pages, basic security | Session |
tsg-consent (local storage) | First-party, essential | Remembers your consent choice | Until deleted |
_ga | First-party (Google Analytics), statistics — only with your consent | Distinguishes visitors to measure site usage | 2 years |
_ga_* | First-party (Google Analytics), statistics — only with your consent | Keeps session state for measurement | 2 years |
3. Third-party requests (fonts)
The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. This involves a request to Google’s servers, which may process your IP address to deliver the fonts. [TODO: a planned upgrade is to self-host the fonts, removing this third-party request entirely.]
4. Analytics & consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used (pages visited, traffic sources, aggregated interactions), with Google Consent Mode v2:
- Analytics cookies are denied by default. They are only set if you click Accept in the consent banner, as required by the Spanish LSSI-CE and the GDPR. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set.
- Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
- Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.
- You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page.
The provider is Google Ireland Ltd.; data may be processed by Google LLC (USA) under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site works. Useful guides: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each document this in their privacy/settings help.
6. More information
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data. Questions: [email protected].
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the version in force and its date appear above.
